It is surrounded by lush meadows, green forests, and the powerful sight of the Hochkönig. Dienten has a great, healthy mountain climate, completely fog-free, wind-protected, and with intense sunlight. This exceptionally beautiful town decorated with flowers invites avid hikers, leisurely walkers, romantic couples, and fun-loving children to enjoy and relax.

The snack station is an ideal destination for hikes with small children or inexperienced hikers. The Grünegghof will astound you with its wonderful view. After the climb up, this 500 year old farm will reward you with excellent cuisine and homemade schnapps. There is also a mill here and animals to visit.

The Erichhütte will surprise you with products from their own farm such as cheese and butter. This hut offers accommodation possibilities for those who would like to tackle high-alpine hikes or even the Hochkönig. The Erichhütte is a hiking destination for easy hikes from the Dientner Sattel, with additional tours to other huts also possible.

On the Pichalm are fun and alpine lodge magic very important. No matters whether the alpine lodge landlord is making music with his kids or telling legends and myths from the Dienten Valley, you feel like in "Heidi". The Pichalm is easy to catch by Hinterdienten or Filzensattel. It also an ideal starting point for tours in the high mountains.

The Bürglalm is a destination for intermediate hikes from the village. It is also suited for rainy hikes, because it is a well-arranged forest path. The view from this hut is unique.

The Huberalm is one of the most rustic, and actually the oldest hut in Dienten valley, and it offers products from its own farm. The children can play with the animals that run freely around, while the parents enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. The Huberalm is easy to reach from the Sonnberg or via the Einersbach.

The Königsbergalm is an old alpine hut, which has been open to the public since 2003. The hut is easy to reach in ca. 1 hr. from the Sonnberg. It will enchant you with its view of the Schwarzenbach valley. There are products from their own farm for you to enjoy.

A rustic hut in the Schwarzenbachtal at the foot of the Ahornstein, the Moosalm is definitely worth a visit; it's also a popular meeting place for many locals.
